I am an Assistant Professor in the Artificial Intelligence Department at Dongguk University, Seoul, South Korea. My research focuses on the stitching/registration and tracking of scalp hair analysis, and more generally on designing better 'AI for science' tools.
Previously, I worked at the Korea National University of Transportation as a Postdoctoral Researcher for 4 years, where I performed tasks such as medical image segmentation, knowledge distillation, and multi-task learning. I obtained my PhD in 2020 from Changwon National University, South Korea, under the supervision of Prof. Su-Hyun Lee
